The Home School Community Link Workers will work with families who are experiencing difficulties to support children and young people and help them to take advantage of all the educational opportunities available to them.
If you would like support from the Home School Community Link Workers either contact your child’s class teacher or contact Rachel or Jeanette directly
(your child must attend one of the following schools: Appleton Primary School, Botley Primary School, Cumnor Primary School, Elms Road Nursery, Matthew Arnold School, North Hinksey Primary School, St Swithuns Primary School or West Oxford Primary School).
They can offer support with the following: The challenges of being a parent/carerAttending meetings with parents/carers about their child/ childrenSupport for families where there are difficulties such as separation or divorceSupporting parents and children with transitions: starting school or move to secondary schoolHelp with filling in formsHelp with accessing other agenciesCommon Assessment Framework and the Team Around the Child Process

Normal working hours: Tuesday - Thursday 10am – 5pm and Fridays 10am – 2pm
Drop in sessions:
Botley on the 1st Thursday of the month after school
Appleton on the 3rd Thursday of the month after school
North Hinksey on the last Thursday of the month after school
