A very big Thank You from the Year 6 children at Appleton Primary School for your exteremly generous support of our coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.
We made a wonderful £443.44 which has been banked and we think the charity will be able to collect an extra £29 in Gift Aid.
We all enjoyed the morning very much as well as raising much needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Care.

Macmillan Cancer Support helps improve the lives of people affected by cancer, both those living with cancer and also their families and carers.
Today, more people in the UK are living with cancer and one in three of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. Cancer affects us all and we can all help to make people's experience of it better.
... And for most it will be the toughest thing we ever face.
We want to be able to reach every single person who is diagnosed with cancer and to be there for them at every stage of their cancer journey, no matter who they are, what part of the country they live in, or what type of cancer they have. We will reach them by helping to make life better, in however large or small a way, through our services.
When you’re facing the toughest fight of your life, you need a team of inspiring people in your corner with you – people who really get what you’re going through because many of them have been there themselves – ready to support you every step of the way.
That’s who we are. We provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support and we push for a better cancer care system. For anyone, at any time, for as long as you need us, we’re the team that gives you the strength and energy to face the fight and get through it.
