Minutes / matters arising from last meeting:
Expenditure:
As in previous years, it was agreed to give £25 to each year group this term. The teachers need to advise how much they have used by the end of the term so that we can check whether the amounts need to be revised.
Tennis Court:
To be carried forward to the 20th October meeting when further expenditure decisions will be made. Mary also advised that she has contact details of the person responsible for School grounds, with whom we should discuss this with before making any decisions.
Mary to advise details.
Laptop trolleys:
To be carried forward to the 20th October meeting - discussed with Mary and she is happy for us to get quotes so that she can compare the quotes from preferred suppliers for the LEA. Mary would still really like another trolley with 16 laptops so that the old PC’s can be replaced. Budget is usually around £10-11k.
Carl to look into costs through his contacts and advise Mary ASAP
Sporting Grants:
To be carried forward to the 20th October meeting - Carl, Jess and Claire still looking into this. To be discussed further at the next meeting. This will become more relevant if we decide to go for the tennis court.
Jess to speak to Becky Ross
Fireworks:
It was decided that we would not proceed with having a fireworks display this year due to concerns with health and safety and insurance.
