Appleton C of E Primary School

The next Friends meeting is being held on Wednesday 25th May at 8.15pm in the Plough in Appleton. It is really important that as many people as possible attend this meeting as we look forward to the new academic year.
 
As Mary Watts explained in her newsletter last week, with the changes to the school budget, the school will be looking to the Friends even more than ever over the next few years. All the children benefit from the money raised and so we all have a responsibility to help. It would be great to welcome some new faces to the meeting as we need new ideas and enthusiastic people to enable the Friends to really help our school.

The committee will be changing in September, both Jo Gregory-Newman and Jess Adams will be stepping down as Joint Chair, Claire Barratt will be stepping down as Secretary and Kristy Bailey will be stepping down as Treasurer. We will be looking to replace these people, if you are interested in taking on a role, or would like to know more about a role please do not hesitate to speak to Jo, Jess, Claire or Kristy. The roles are open to all parents (Mum's and Dad's) at Appleton School.

If none of recent events have been to your liking or you know of something that would be fun and raise some funds for the school, then please do come along to the meeting to tell us your ideas. We are a friendly fun bunch, its a great way to meet new friends and help Appleton School continue to be the success that it is!
